One day at a time

We did a test run living together for a week. We loved it and yet it was hard doing all those pedestrian things together without all the excitement and fun of vacation or weekend. Life is stressful as it is, and co-navigating when one person wants to pull one way and the other person another. Ah the tug o war of partnership. And I think we proved compatibility and a deep willingness to work together towards flow between us. And we retain our individualism. He's at Metallica and I went to Oyster Bay to support a friend in tree climbing competition and go to a bit of Pride in the city and see friends. And it works. It is becoming clear--we are moving into a phase of our relationship where we start to think of each other as partners in this life journey.
