Hudson Horror Show and New York AIDS Walk
Two completely different beings join together in partnership and this is one of those weekends where two things happen on two different days and we're all into it with our people. It pries us apart for a couple days and yet we're still able to be happy in our relationship with each other.
That's one of the delightful things about our love: he's got horror film festivals and metal concerts and I have the ballet, Broadway, Mirror Mirror and an obsession about staying a 32 inch pant waist size. And it's OK.
I'm still blown away that we fit. Love is mysterious and wonderful. And today is one of those blissful days that begs me to consider that there is something greater than humanity that guides the spin of the planets in orbit to create such beauty in the world.
So here's to Horror Movie Festivals and walking the park on Sunday to raise funds for those suffering and impacted by the HIV virus. There's something beautiful in all that. I pause to remind myself.
