8 Months and a Day

Today we're both pursuing our own interests. It's swell that we can both take time apart: he's with dear friends at a film festival, I'm writing up goals for 2012 and reviewing them with a mentor. And we're both happy and checking in with each other.

We're getting to a place where we can both be independent and still experience our closeness.
