4 Months
So we were having a conversation about when you go from "going on dates," to "dating," to "boyfriend," to "partner." We're saying "partner" at 4 months. Is that going too fast? I dunno, however, that's where we are. And when do you give the other guy your apartment keys? And if one person gives keys, then what does it mean if the other guy waits to give his?
Just saw "Crazy, Stupid Love" and there's a Shakespearean comedy madness in the twists that happen and the emotional conflagrations. I love you even when I hate you: what does that even mean?
So here we are, my partner and I, loving each other, learning more and more about each other. We continue to take it a day at a time. We show each other support. He was wildly generous this past weekend -- literally took my breath away. What was most amazing and generous was that he thought about each thing to give: thing, joke, practical and huge entertainment, intimate theater: closing night, actors losing it on stage (love CSC)... I sometimes lie beside him, watch him in his sleep and wonder: "who is this man I love?"
I'm in a state of delight and wonder.
